Wanstead Quaker Meeting House is a beautiful and unique building with excellent facilities, set within a pocket of Epping Forest, just 35 minutes from Central London (by tube). Bookings can be one-off or on a regular basis. We have ample bicycle and car parking and large, walled grounds.

Large Meeting Room

A large hexagonal room with a striking ceiling. Well lit, with lots of natural light. The floor to ceiling windows which look out into a large meadow and Quaker Burial Ground, giving the impression that the room is floating.

Maximum capacity with auditorium seating, 120 people.

Children’s room

A room used by the children of Wanstead Quaker Meeting House. A light room, with children’s artwork on the walls.

The Library

A light and peaceful room with floor to ceiling windows. Shelves of Quaker relevant texts fill one wall.

Fully equipped kitchen

Access Information

There is level access to the Meeting House.

We have a wheelchair accessible toilet on site. The dimensions of the toilet are 190cm by 150cm. The toilet door is 79cm wide.

Wheelchair users may find using the kitchen or accessing the Quaker Burial Ground difficult.

We are working on providing disabled car parking spaces with wheelchair access in the car park (which we do not currently have).
